The Woodlands, Texas-based Grenadier Energy Partners, LLC is a natural gas exploration and production company that emphasizes southwestern Pennsylvania and northwestern West Virginia parts of the Marcellus shale play. The company was founded in 2007 by several former members of Mitchel Energy, a company usually given credit for helping to bring about development of the Barnett shale play.

Grenadier was reported in February, 2011 to be drilling partners with Drilling Appalachian Corp in Tyler County, West Virginia. According to the news account, the latter company drills the vertical well bore, and Grenadier is responsible for the lateral portion of each well. It is also one of the companies that has committed to using the gas gathering system of Caiman Energy.

The company has also been reported to be active in the vicinity of Bear Run in Knob Fork, Wetzel Co., WV. As of year-end 2010 Grenadier had been permitted for 4 horizontal Marcellus wells in Wetzel Co.
