Snyder Brothers Inc. is a Kittanning, Pennsylvania-based gas exploration and production company that ranked tenth in terms of wells drilled in the State during 2008 having completed 85.

According to a September, 2009 report, the company had been issued a permit to drill a Marcellus shale well west of Route 66 and east of Olean Trail in Clarion County, PA's Porter Township.

A November, 2009 report found Snyder flow testing and flaring a Marcellus shale well along Route 422 near the Borough of Worthington by Creekside Mushrooms in rural Armstrong County.

A February, 2011 news article mentioned that Snyder Bros. had applied for a conditional use permit to township supervisors for a Marcellus shale well in South Buffalo Township (Freeport) located in the southwestern corner of Armstrong Co. The proposed location was on the Promise Land Hunting Reserve along West Spangler Rd. According to the account, there is already a Marcellus well on the nearby Northpointe Industrial Park in Slate Lick. The planned well was to have a total depth of 7,000 feet. Drilling was expected to begin in April, 2011. Snyder Bros. had previously drilled on the same hunting reserve, but this was to be its first Marcellus shale well on the property.

A second 7,000 foot well was planned for a remote 4.5 acre tract in the Northpointe Industrial Park, but was scheduled to be drilled at a later time. It was not clear from the article whether either of these wells was to be vertical, or rather horizontal, but from the context both appeared to be of the latter type. The company had previously drilled two Marcellus wells in South Buffalo Twp., one near Ford City Road and a second one on land belonging to the South Buffalo Recreation Association Hunting Club.
