Alexander, New York-based Lenape Resources, Inc is an oil and gas exploration and oil field services company with a New York and Pennsylvania leasehold consisting of 88,000 net acres--all but 10,000 held by production. It operates 451 wells either directly or through joint ventures.
While primarily targeting the Medina and Upper Devonian formations, Lenape also explores the Trenton-Black River among others. It operates dozens of Medina Sandstone and other similar-depth wells located in Chautauqua, Genesee, Livingston, Wayne, and Wyoming counties in New York. The heaviest concentration of these wells is in Livingston and Wyoming counties.
