Here is where some info about the Susquehanna River Basin Commission should go. This article is still a stub and needs your attention. It does not have a template and contains minimal information. Please dive in and help it grow!
The Susquehanna River Basin Commission regulates water withdrawals from the Basin. Companies wishing to withdraw water from sources in the Basin must apply for permission from the Commission. As of September, 2008 eight companies had been approved to withdraw forty-one million gallons daily.
The Commission was established by the U.S. federal government and includes the States of Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania to manage and protect the Susquehanna River Basin's water resources.
Michael Brownell is the Commission’s Chief of Water Resources Management. Secondary contact: Susan Obleski, Director of Communications
