The Youngsville, New York-based Catskill Mountainkeeper is an environmental advocacy group promoting a number of heath and safety-related causes especially as they relate to the six counties of the New York State's Catskill Region. The group has been active in criticizing Marcellus shale drilling on the basis of environmental concerns.
