East Dundee, Illinois-based Blue Flame Energy Corporation describes itself as a natural gas field development company. It operates more than 225 natural gas wells and has a leasehold in excess of 20,000 acres mainly located in Pike County, Kentucky and surrounding areas that are part of the Big Sandy Natural Gas Field. This field is centered on the Lower Huron shale fairway where there is considerable proven production.
