Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania-based Guardian Exploration LLC owns three horizontal Marcellus shale wells in village of Roulette on Route 6 in Potter County, Pennsylvania. [Pennsylvania General Energy Corp.] is the well operator. These wells were in the news in December, 2008 when one of the horizontal wells caught fire on Christmas Eve and had to be extinguished by the local volunteer fire department.
