The Northeast Upgrade Project (NUP) is a pipeline being built by the El Paso Corporation to provide transportation for 636,000 dekatherms of natural gas per day from the 300 Line to interconnects in New Jersey for markets in the northeastern U.S.

In February, 2010 El Paso announced that this pipeline had been 100% contracted for by wholly-owned subsidiaries of Chesapeake Energy and Statoil-Hydro. The latter two companies have a joint venture to develop Chesapeake's Marcellus shale acreage. The NUP was to cost $400 million most of which was budgeted for 2013.

The line was to go into service in November 1, 2013.
