Warrendale, Pennsylvania-based PC Exploration was reported to have drilled two Marcellus shale wells in Belmont County, Ohio which is located directly west of Wheeling, West Virginia across the Ohio River.

A June, 2009 report found PC leasing in Monroe County, OH in Clarington right along side the Ohio River on Route 7 North of the Ormet Aluminum Plant.

A news account in July, 2010 found PC Exploration operating three natgas wells on the Elwood farm near Saltburg, Indiana County, PA. These were believed to be shallow.

PC Exploration is believed to be either subsidiary or else closely affiliated with Phillips Resources, Inc since both companies share the same address and phone number.
