Here is where some info about the PennFuture
should go. This article is still a stub and needs
your attention. It does not have a template and contains minimal
information. Please dive in and help it grow!

Harrisburg, Pennsyvania-based PennFuture (aka Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future) is a statewide educational and public advocacy environmental group that advocates a natural gas severance tax in Pennsylvania as well as a balanced approach to drilling the State Forests' Marcellus shale gas deposits. The group does not oppose drilling per se, but wants the environmental impacts on air and water taken into consideration and also protecting the State's open spaces. It does not favor unrestricted development of the State Forests, but argues instead for responsible development of the forests.

  • George Jugovic Jr. is PennFuture's President and CEO.
  • John Baillie is Senior Attorney in group's Pittsburgh office.
