Delmont, Pennsylvania and Clarksburg, West Virginia-based Hotwell Services Inc. was acquired by Columbus, Ohio-based Capital City Energy Group, Inc. effective December 31, 2008 for $5 million USD. The company is an oil and gas field service provider of wireline services--horizontal logging and well completion services used in Marcellus shale drilling.

Joseph Sites is Hotwell's founder, will remain its President, and became Executive Vice President of Capital City after the acquisition.
