Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based J.A.G. Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: JML) is involved in a multi-year research exploratory study at Lac St. Jean north of the Saint Lawrence Lowlands in Quebec. It holds research permits in the area covering almost 100,000 hectares on the southwestern half of the body of water. The area has a similar sedimentary rock succession to the St. Lawrence Lowlands which has been associated with the Trenton-Black River and Utica shale strata.
