The Luzerne County, Pennsylvania-based JFK Oil Terminal owns a $5 million oil terminal on the Susquehana River. It was once one of 13 hubs for Sunoco's North Eastern Seaboard pipeline, and has tank capacity for several million gallons which could be repurposed to store frac water used in natural gas drilling. Both Range Resources and Chesapeake Energy are investigating the possibility of utilizing this facility.
