South Charleston, West Virginia-based NGInnovations Inc is a provider of water treatment technology for removing surfactants, heavy metals and salts from flowback water coming from hydro-fracturing wells in the Marcellus shale formation.

NGInnovations was founded in January, 2007. One of its first water treament units was purchased by CNX Gas.

The company's units are portable, and may be used at the well site.

It also has proprietary technology for removing heavy hydrocarbons and water vapor from streams of natural gas.
