Here is where some info about the Appalachia Shale Water Conservation and
Management Committee should go.  This article is still a stub and needs

The Appalachian Shale Water Conservation and Management Committee (ASWCMC) is a consortium of energy companies actively drilling in the Appalachian Basin. Tom Hayes is the ASWCMC's Managing Director.

The members are Anadarko Petroleum, Cabot Oil & Gas, Chesapeake Energy, Chief Oil & Gas, EOG Resources, Equitable Resources, J-W Operating, Marathon Oil Corporation and Range Resources.

The purpose of the Consortium is to develop a set of best practices for handling water resources utilized in drilling, completion, and production operations associated with development of Marcellus shale.
